AIRPORT COMMISSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A special meeting of the Airport Commission was held on Wednesday, <br />August 22, 1984 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen <br />Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mr. Jack Ippel, Chairman <br />Mr. Dennis Donovan <br />Mr. Dick Sieber <br />Mr. Chuck Soderholm <br />Mr. John Siebert <br />Mr. Don Greenberg <br />Mr. Bill Morrow <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Mr. Larry Koshak of Hakanson/Anderson Eng. <br />Mr. Merland Otto of Ralph Burke Associates <br /> <br />Members Absent: Mr. Ken Patz <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairman Ippel called the special meeting to order at 10:36 p.m. <br /> <br />COMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Donovan and seconded by Commissioner <br />Sieber that City Staff send a letter inviting the potentially <br />affected property owners to the next regular Airport Commission <br />meeting for an update on the status of the airport issue; that <br />these property owners should not send representatives to the <br />meeting on their behalf as the meeting is purely informational; <br />and that the letter should make note of the fact that there is <br />a vacancy to be filled on the Airport Commission and their <br />applications would be welcomed. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Ippel, Commissioners <br />Donovan, Sieber, Soderholm, Siebert, Greenberg and Morrow. <br />Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Patz. <br /> <br />Chairman Ippel stated that Ramsey Council and Airport Commission <br />has been invited to tour the Air Lake Industrial Park and inquired <br />as to what can be done within the confines of the Open Meeting Law. <br /> <br />Commissioner Sieber replied.that it would have to be posted <br />at a minimum of 24 hours that the tour has been arranged and that <br />the public is invited. <br /> <br />Commissioner Sieber noted that Commissioner Patz has been absent <br />from several meetings and that Commissioner Patz should resign <br />if he does not intend to participate. <br /> <br />AP/August 22, 1984 <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
