The City's statutory authority for <br />adopting this section is M.S.A. 435.193. <br /> <br /> Subdivision 2. Procedure to Obtain and Renew a Deferred <br /> Assessment. The deferment shall be applied for by the owner on a <br /> form prescribed by the Anoka County Auditor supplemented by the <br /> City Clerk to establish the qualification of the owner for such <br /> deferment. The application shall be made at the time the project <br />I is authorized andain all cases it must be made before the final <br /> assessment rollsre approved by the City Council. If the <br /> application is granted it shall be automatically renewed each <br />I following year on September 30th of each year, unless the <br /> applicant's situation changes so that a hardship as defined in <br /> <br />Subdivision 5, below no longer exists or the deferment terminates <br /> <br />I pursuant to the provisions of Subdivision 4, below. It shall be <br /> a misdemeanor for any person to file an intentionally erroneous <br /> application for deferral or for any person to fall to notify the <br /> City Clerk of a change in circumstance that would terminate the <br />I deferral, given promptly and not later <br /> which <br /> such <br /> notice <br /> shall <br /> than September 30th following the change in circumstances. <br /> <br /> <br />
