Counci lmembe r <br />moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ~84 - <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING ~/~E BIDS RECEIVED FOR WATER METERS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for <br />water meters, bids were received, opened and tabulated according <br />to law, and the following bids were received complying with the <br /> <br />advertisement: <br /> <br /> Water Products Co. Rockwell "TTR" <br /> Water Products Co. Rockwell "ECR" <br /> Davies Water Equip. Neptune "T-10" <br /> North Star Waterworks Badger Model 25 <br /> Badger Meter, Inc. Badger Model 25 <br /> <br />$6,550.00 <br />$7,540.00 <br />$6,657.00 <br />$5,683.00 <br />$5,340.00 <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, the City Engineer has determined that the <br />three lowest bidders did not meet the specifications. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESO~, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That the City Council hereby accepts the price <br />quote from Davies Water Equip. in the amount of $6,657.00. <br /> <br /> 2) That the City Council qualified the above action by <br />them due to the fact the three lowest bidders did not meet the <br />specifications. <br /> <br /> 3) That the City Administrator/Clerk is hereby <br />authorized and directed to inform those who bid on the Council <br />action. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken <br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by <br />the Ramsey City Council this the llth day of December, 1984. <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />City Administrator/Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
