Bacon <br /> <br />In attendance: <br /> <br />Claudia Dodge <br />Kathi Peterson <br />Margaret Connally <br />Anne Moroz <br />Bruce Bacon <br /> <br />Tile regular January meeting of the KAB Committee was held at 7:00 p.m. at the Ramsey <br />Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W. <br /> <br />Jane Leonard of the Minnesota Beautiful Program of the Trade and Economic Development <br />Agency introduced the Community Pride Program. One project example mentioned was the <br />possibility of a parks map painted on the parking lot. <br /> <br />Kathi Peterson asked if an environmental expo might qualify. Ms. Leonard reviewed the three <br />types of projects: "Process", "Project", and "Painted". <br /> <br />The process grants are for an introduction at a town meeting with citizen input identifying particular <br />projects. <br /> <br />Claudia Dodge wondered if ail educational prairie could be developed at the elementary school in <br />conjunction with the "Adopt-A-Park" program. The March meeting of the Park and Recreation <br />Commission will have citizen input regarding that site. <br /> <br />April 27, 1991 fi'om 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. was confirmed as the Environmental Expo.
