Bacon <br /> <br />Claudia Dodge <br />Kathi Peterson <br />Margaret Connally <br />Anne Moroz <br />Bruce Bacon <br />Merle Mevissen <br /> <br />The regular February meeting of the KAB Committee was held at 7:00 p.m. at the Ramsey <br />Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W. <br /> <br />Kathi Peterson brought the By-Laws revision to the Committee's attention. We are operating <br />without 1991 officers, and without a quorum. Ms. Peterson suggested we reappoint officers for a <br />two year term. Tile need for a treasurer and secretary was brought forward. <br /> <br />Clean-Up Day was set for Saturday, May 4, 1991. Bruce Bacon was asked to draft a letter to <br />Anoka Cotmty Enviromnental Services requesting a one day lifting of the ban on unprocessed <br />waste for the event to proceed (attached is a draft of that letter). <br /> <br />Last year's Green Business Expo participants are invited to participate in this year's expo, ~__ they <br />can include an educational component. <br /> <br />Kathi Pcterson noted that household battery recycling collection has started at two sites, City Hall <br />and tile Elementary School. <br /> <br />Mt'. Mevissen was asked if he could store collected batteries in 55 gallon plastic drums at the shop. <br />He agreed, and Anne Moroz will drop off a plastic drum to use. <br /> <br />Kathi Pcterson said the batteries did not need to be packed in an inert clay, the barrel can be packed <br />full before shipping. <br /> <br />BFB :ocr <br /> <br />CC: <br /> <br />Project Manager James Gromberg <br />KAB Minutes <br />KAB Committee <br /> <br /> <br />
