BFB <br /> <br />Budget Funding Sourcing: <br /> <br />Sandra Ashley pointed out that the tipping fee was for abatement and the two large budget items <br />should come from trust. Fees recovered could go into any of three funds. General Fund items <br />were comparable to Economic Development Commission funding. Mr. Hartley was asked about <br />"Staff Time - 8 hours per week". He said hc couldn't guarantee Jim, as KAB requested, because <br />he reserved the "need to manage staff time". Also that Jim and Bruce Bacon were "used to <br />working together", and Jim may need to back up the regular liaison. <br /> <br />HHW: <br /> <br />Claudia said that a later day in fall; necessary MPCA for liability and disposal; maybe County joint <br />participation. Maybe have a City-wide educational day in conjunction with it. Bruce Bacon <br />suggested this opportunity to recruit citizen member participation. Mayor Reimann thought that <br />this item should be contingent on Fall Day planning, and the Business-Industry seminars needed <br />managing, clarifying and integrating with the Economic Development Commission and the <br />community grants needed clarifying. Also, Mr. Hartley needed management discretion. With <br />those reservations he thought it looked good, comparable to last year. Did the conference need <br />attending ever5, year? <br /> <br />Motion was made by Steve DeLuca and seconded by Ken Peterson to accept budget with above <br />reservations. <br /> <br />Adjourned at 7:35 <br /> <br /> <br />
