FROM:

RE:

DATE:

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

City Staff

Implementation of On-Site Septic System

June 12, 1984

Listed below are some items that have to be considered in the implementation
of the on-site septic system ordinance:

1) Draft letter (informational)
2) Draft mailing list
3) Draft permit form (requirements of 150.017)
4) Notify pumpers of ordinance and permit requirements
5) Draft method and procedure for recording responses
6) Draft schedule for taking and returning inquiries
7) Establish inspection fee

Some points to consider:

Mailing List: The Anoka County Assessor'.s Office will be pro-
viding the City with a list of PIN's and property addresses
within a week or so. From this list we will have to draft a
workable list to keep track of who has responded to the letter
and who hasn't. Our list will take approximately two to three
weeks to draft (taking into consideration daily phone calls,
daily deadlines, etc.)

Note: The anticipated initial cost for implementation is
$5,000. Please be advised that additional costs will be in-
curred for record keeping and answering citizens questions
as long as the program is in force.

CRB: s
