PELTZER - MINI-PARK <br /> <br />This 11.9 acre park is partially developed -- with some playground equipment, <br />picnic tables, grills and benches. <br /> <br />During the winter, the pond serves as an ice-skating rink. Access is good <br />fromKamacite Street and 150th AvenueN.W. Consideration should be given <br />to reshaping the area around the pond and additional planting and smoothing <br />out the terrain. <br /> <br />This 11.9 acre site has some potential for becoming a mixed use area in the <br />City. It is proposed that the park be developed to the extent of cleaning <br />brush, cleaning the shoreline of the pond, making walkways, improving on the <br />playground area and making plantings of various kinds for shade, screening <br />and visual enhancement. <br /> <br />34 <br /> <br /> <br />
