L. TRAPROCK COMMONS - SPECIAL USE

This park is approximately 4.4 acres of sandy flat land. Development of this
park has included a riding arena, storage building, and parking. The primary
user group, obviously, are individual riders and saddle clubs with occasional
shows.

The park is planned as a trailhead providing access to the trail system
particularly in the western part of the City. As a trailhead, consideration
should be given to providing a drinking well and stock tank, restrooms and
defined parking and loading areas. Additional amenities which are desirable
at the park include bleachers, shade trees and defined tether area.

HUNTER'S HILL - NEIGHBORHOOD PARK

This park is approximately 4.5 acres located east of Sunfish Lake Blvd. with
access from 144th Avenue N.W. The park slopes from west to east with a
wetland encompassing approximately half of the site. A small amount of
playground equipment has been installed.

No major development of this park is anticipated, however, playground
equipment should be upgraded and an effort should be made to link this park
with future trails to the east.

37
