I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />i <br />i <br />I <br />i <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />The Council Personnel Committee recommended that this be placed on the May 8, <br />1984 Council agenda for action. <br /> <br />Case #5: Police Labor NeRotiations: <br /> <br />The City Administrator informed the Council Personnel Committee that the police <br />would settle for the flat rate longevity for a period of four (4) years providing they <br />receive a 4.8% pay raise and the rest of the fringe benefits that have been tentatively <br />agreed to by the City. <br /> <br />The Council Personnel Committee stated that they would want them all to be tested <br />in that case and would not honor grandfathering which the police requested.
