Mmrw..~polis~ Minnesot~ Te~phone 612/3~11~ The law firm of ttolmes & Graven, Chartered is pleased to submit the enclosed proposal to the City of Ramsey, Minnesota in order to assist the City in achieving the goals and objectives of its economic development program. As you may be aware, we are versed in many aspects of the redevelopment and revitalization process and offer many of the ski/Is that the City of Ramsey will require in meeting its redevelopment goals and objectives. We feel there are six specific skills or credentials that the City of Ramsey will require to achieve the goals and objectives of an economic development program: 1. financial feasibility analysis; 2. establishing a procedural framework for accomplishing the City's objectives; 3. working knowledge of the various redevelopment tools currently available; e working knowledge of municipal financing and various private funding options; 5. real estate negotiations; and 6. knowledge of potential developers. Besides the proposal, we have included three appendices. Appendix I lists representative samples of our contractual assistance in similar programs. Appendix II summarizes the backgrounds of the staff that will be principally responsible for administering the Contract. Appendix III provides a list of references of past and present clients.
