Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #16-09-178 <br />RESOLUTION TO HIRE ENGINEERING INTERNS <br />WHEREAS, annually the City employs Interns to work in Administrative <br />Services, Community Development, Engineering, and Parks; and <br />WHEREAS, this year the Engineering Department's workload requires the <br />continued support of fall interns; and <br />WHEREAS, staff selected two fall Interns for the 2016 annual recruitment <br />process; and <br />WHEREAS, the candidates have both passed the pre -employment screenings; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, staff recommends hiring the selected 2016 Engineering Interns <br />listed below. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />Motion to adopt resolution #16-09-178, hiring Ms. Michaela Bebeau and Mr. <br />Kyle Matuseski, both at $12.00 per hour, effective on or near September 15, <br />2016. <br />The motion for the adoption of the 'foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member, , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 27t1i day of September, 2016. <br />
