This project has no funding from MnDOT. <br />The Metro District currently has no discretionary funding in year 2020 of the STIP or year 2021 <br />of the CHIP to assist with construction or assist with MnDOT services such as the design or <br />construction engineering of the project. MnDOT suggested to continue to work with MnDOT <br />area staff to assist in identifying additional project funding. <br />Update on tournaments, trails, concerts and facility use: <br />Upcoming Summer Event Series at The Draw are: <br />July 14 Devon Worley Band (a rain -out) <br />July 21 Church of Cash <br />Previous concerts have had good attendance. <br />Update on Comprehensive Plan <br />Updates on the Mississippi Skyway <br />Staff is working on a $4.6M grant application currently for this project. <br />Future meetings: 2017-2022 Capital Improvement Plan, Joint Meeting with City Council <br />Work will begin on the CIP in September with a joint meeting with the City Council after some <br />work has been done. The City will be going from a five year to a ten year CIP to better stretch <br />projects out to projected years. It will be a new and improved document. <br />There has also been an invitation extended to ARAA for a joint meeting with Council. <br />Commissioner Mobry stated he visited the tennis courts yesterday. There was a baseball game <br />going on and an attendee stated they are mowing the foul lines themselves because they cannot <br />be seen. Commissioner Mobry asked about Lake Itasca Trail and Mr. Riverblood stated the <br />bridges are ready to be installed. The boardwalk to be replaced would be very expensive. <br />Commissioner Troy asked about the Oaks Savanna area of the landfill. <br />7.
