3.02 REMOVAL <br />A. The Contractor shall completely remove the buildings and all of its internal and external components, including <br />steps, stoops, sidewalks, floors, parking lots, concrete curb and gutter, trees, driveways, footings and trees. <br />3.03 UTILITIES <br />A. Telephone, electric power and other wire services, and gas service pipes will be disconnected by the utility <br />owners outside the buildings and all fixtures belonging to such utility companies will be removed by them. <br />Contractor shall remove all other piping and fixtures. <br />B. The City shall notify the utility companies not less than 10 days prior to any work which will affect their <br />properties. <br />3.04 DISPOSAL OF MATERIALS AND DEBRIS <br />A. All materials removed and all debris resulting from the removal operations, shall become the property of the <br />Contractor and shall be disposed of in accordance with all City, Federal and State Laws and regulations. <br />3.05 SITE RESTORATION <br />A. After completion of demolition and removal, the site shall be restored to a safe, stable condition. <br />B. Depressions from all removals shall be backfilled, compacted and graded using on -site soils as fill material in <br />accordance with Section 21 22 00. <br />C. Final graded slopes shall not exceed 3h:ly. <br />D. Vegetation shall be established according to Section 32 92 00. <br />3.06 METHOD OF MEASUREMENT <br />A. Building Demolition and Removal including removal of all interior and exterior materials as described above <br />will be measured as a single lump sum quantity. <br />3.07 METHOD OF PAYMENT <br />Payment for the Building Demolition and Removal item at the Contract lump sum price shall be compensation for <br />all costs of the work described above. <br />Payment for building removal will be made on the basis of the following schedule: <br />Item Unit <br />Building Demolition and Removal Lump Sum <br />END OF SECTION <br />Division 2 — Existing Conditions <br />DV2-2 <br />
