Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #16-10-198 <br />RESOLUTION TO APPOINT BOARD AND COMMISSION MEMBERS <br />WHEREAS, Park and Recreation Commission members Ms. Bridget Barr and Mr. <br />Thomas Mobry have resigned; and <br />WHEREAS, Planning Commission members Mr. Matthew Maul and Mr. Andrew <br />Andrusko have resigned; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council conducted interviews on September 20, 2016 and selected <br />four new Board and Commission members to fill the vacancies, effective November 1, 2016, as <br />follows: <br />1) Brandon Sis - Park and Recreation Commission - term ending March 31, 2019 <br />2) Russell Bayer - Park and Recreation Commission - term ending March 31, 2017 <br />3) Bruce Anderson - Planning Commission - term ending March 31, 2020 <br />4) Patrick Surma - Planning Commission - term ending March 31, 2019 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />Motion to Adopt Resolution #16-10-198 to make the following board and commission <br />appointments, effective November 1, 2016. <br />1) Brandon Sis - Park and Recreation Commission - term ending March 31, 2019 <br />2) Russell Bayer - Park and Recreation Commission - term ending March 31, 2017 <br />3) Bruce Anderson - Planning Commission - term ending March 31, 2020 <br />4) Patrick Surma - Planning Commission - term ending March 31, 2019 <br />The motion for the adoption of the 'foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council Member, <br />, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 11th day of October, 2016. <br />
