• Meeting with Anoka County Parks soon to discuss acquisition of road right-of-way <br />• TH 47 Crosswalk Improvements @ Nowthen Blvd / Xkimo Street **COMPLETE** <br />• 2017 COR Concrete Pavement Improvements <br />• Numerous concrete pavement sections require repairs, especially crosswalks <br />• Temporary pavement repairs underway ($21,000) <br />• Permanent repairs proposed for 2017 in CIP ($150,000 in CIP but costs could exceed $500,000) <br />• Staff is currently researching improvement options and costs in more detail <br />• On July 19th PWC requested staff to further research reasons for failing concrete and report back with <br />findings and recommendations <br />• The PWC will provide a recommendation to Council on the scope and timing of the project and <br />funding options <br />• Sunwood Drive Striping Improvements <br />• Temporary striping improvements are proposed for the spring of 2017 (est. $5,000) <br />• Coordinate / incorporate permanent striping improvements with permanent COR Concrete Pavement <br />Improvements project <br />Items of Interest <br />.
