I I I I I I I i I ! i I I I I I I i RESOLUTION RESOLUTION REGARDING COMPLETING A SELF-EVALUATION OF ALL CITY PROGRAMS AND SERVICES TO ESTABLISH COMPLIANCE WITH REVENUE SHARING g3IDELINES PERTAINING TO HANDICAPPED DISCRIMINATION WHEREAS, Revenue Sharing Guidelines require that all governmental entities receiving Revenue Sharing Funds must conduct a self-evaluation of all programs and services for the purpose of isolating any handicapped discrimination; and WHEREAS, Revenue Sharing Guidelines require that such evaluation becompletedbeforeOctober 17, 1984. WHEREAS, Revenue Sharing Guidelines also require that structural and nonstructural changes be completed by October 17, 1984; and WHEREAS, The City Staff conducted an internal evaluation of all City programs and services; and WHEREAS, ~he City of Ramsey offers basic City services and programs such as police protection, street maintenance, animal control, public improvements, building inspection, planning and zoning, fire protection and generak administrative services; and WHEREAS, The City offers the above services to all residents, without discrimination to handicapped individuals; and WHEREAS, The Ramsey Municipal Center (City Hall) provides handicapped access to the upper and lower floors of the building; and WHEREAS, The Ramsey Municipal Center (City Hall) provides handicapped restroom facilities on both upper and lower levels; and WHEREAS, The City must notify the public of changes made to improve programs and services; and WHEREAS, ~e City must notify the public that the City does not discriminate against handicapped persons in offering programs and services; and
