Most of this organic material is disposed of at landfills
and it should be utilized. The Anoka County Board of Commissioners
and Coon Rapids City Council have dedicated themselves to a pilot
project of leaf composting.
By using the composting process leaves and grass clippings will be
converted to a useful soil amendment.

Composting is the natural process.of breaking down organic materials
into Humas, a dark earthy part of ~oil. Composting speeds up the
natural process, but the technology is the same as nature has used
for millions of years.

If you'll lend us your leaves, we'll compost them and in about eighteen
months compost for your lawn and garden will be available at no charge.

COMPOST!
