Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Schlueter and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case 911: Landfill (A. Water Monitoring Re~ort; B. Landfill Inspection <br />Re~ort): <br /> <br />a) Ramsey Landfill Water Monitoring Report - <br /> <br />Council noted. <br /> <br />Councilmember Reimann stated that if the Landfill would like another <br />monitoring well, Mr. Walter Scroggin is agreeable to placement of that <br />additional well on his property adjacent to the landfill. <br /> <br />Councilmember schlueter noted that City had requested the immediate <br />retesting of Well .2a; inquired as to what could cause a drop in <br />the water like that recorded in the report. <br /> <br />City Engineer Raatikka stated that a possible cause for the decrease <br />in water and increase in nitrates could be the dewatering that was <br />done for the gas line. <br /> <br />Councilmember Van Wagner inquired if the water is tested periodically <br />at the Terry Miller residence. <br /> <br />City Engineer P~atikka stated that he heard that it is but he does not <br />receive reports on it. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich stated that the methane project has been approved <br />by Ramsey, Anoka and Anoka County. There will be a meeting on Wednesday, <br />January 25, 1984 to discuss items listed in Mr. Goodrich's memo dated <br />November 28, 1983. <br /> <br />b) Ramsey Landfill Ground Inspection Reports - <br /> <br />Council noted. <br /> <br />Case #13: A~proval Of City License Applications: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner to <br />approve the following license applications for Contractors: <br /> <br />#84-034 C George Sedgwick Heating & Air Conditioning Compnay <br /> 1001 Senia Avenue South <br /> Minneapolis, MN 55416 <br /> <br />%84-035 C Grant's Excavating <br /> 2748 161st Avenue NW <br /> Anoka, MN 55303 <br /> <br />C/January 24, 1984 <br /> Page 12 of 15 <br /> <br /> <br />
