Mayor Gamec has re- <br />quested that Dennis Donovan be in attendance at this meeting <br />and he has indicated he will. <br /> <br />Park Board Action: Your action will be to take a serious look <br />into Ramseys' present and future needs in the area of parks <br />and how the Citys' present park development can accommodate <br />these needs. <br /> <br />REVIEW OF PRIORITIES FOR CENTRAL PARK: <br /> <br />The subject of the well and irrigation system for Central Park <br />was discussed at the January 10, 1984 Council meeting. However, <br />in the discussion various ideas of the priorities for this park <br />were brought out. <br /> <br />City Engineer Raatikka prepared a report for your review in re- <br />gards to the decreasing the size of well and irrigation system <br />for the Park and is contained as Enclosure D-2c. John Lichter <br />was requested to contact the RYAA regarding their setting <br />priorities to irrigation and lighted fields. <br /> <br />Council action was to refer this to the Park Board for your re- <br />view and comments. This item is placed on the January 24, 1984 <br />Council agenda for theim action on how to proceed with the <br />future development of Central Park. <br /> <br />Park Board Action: Your action will be to review the priorities <br />for Central Park and give your recommendation to the City Council <br />as to how you would like to proceed in the development of this <br />Park. <br /> <br />ISSUES PAPER ON LOCAL PAPd< GRANTS: METROPOLITAN COUNCIL P~EVIEW <br /> <br />AND GRANT PROGRAM ADMINISTRATION: <br /> <br />This is being forwarded to 'you as Exhibit "A" for your infor- <br />mation. The entire foremat on approval for pa~k grants is <br />under consideration for change. Please read through this docu- <br />ment as this could be very important to the City of Ramsey in <br />future development of parks if we could qualify for grant funds. <br /> <br />INFORMATIONAL: <br /> <br />Enclosure (D-2d) is contained for your information on the expenses <br />of the Park and Recreation Commission through the month of Deceraber, <br />1983. <br /> <br /> <br />
