The purpose of the meeting is to discuss establishin~ a Quad City Recreation <br /> Facility Advisory Board. <br /> <br /> II. The purpose of this Quad City Board would be to review recreational needs and <br />I financial responsibilities of the participating communities, of <br /> Objectives <br /> this board may include but not be l~m~ted to the following items: <br /> <br />I A. To compose a park analysis for all communities explaining the recreation <br /> and programming offered to the public and its locations. <br /> <br />I B. To alleviate duplication of facilities and programs where not needed. <br /> C. To evaluate park construction alternatives which might best serve the <br /> <br />i total public area of these communities and the residents using the fa- <br /> cilities for various programs. <br /> <br /> D. To develop guidelines for long range planning of recreational facilities <br />I within the communities .emphasizing the importance of meeting the needs of <br /> the service area. <br /> <br />i III. How many members should be on the co~,m~ttee and who shou~.d they be? <br /> IV. How long should the committee meet and how often? <br /> <br /> V. At the end, comprise an overview of objectives that the commanities agree upon <br /> and present these objectives to their councils for actioa. <br /> <br /> <br />
