Nowthen Blvd. Ramsey, Mn. 55303 WHAT: QUAD CITY RECREATION BOARD MEETING WHEN: WEDNESDAY~ JANUARY 25 - 7:00 P.M. WHERE: ANOKA CITY HALL - COMFfITTEE ROOM As you recall, on December 8, 1983 City representatives from Anoka, Andover, Champlin and Ramsey met for the first time for the purpose of discussing the feasibility of establishing a Quad City Recreation Facility Advisory Board. The communities, at this organizational meeting, agreed that the establish- ment of a Quad City Recreation Board could benefit the entire recreation pro- gram. It was further established by this representative body that this Ad- visory Council should consist of two members from each community, with a Council member acting as liaison representative. The recreational board should meet every other month. I have been assigned as staff representative for the City of Anoka to serve on this board. At this time, I am requesting the representatives from each community to be present at a meeting scheduled January 25, 1984 7:00 P.M. at the Committee Room at Anoka City Hall. The purpose of this meeting will be to establish officers, establish a meeting date and time, and briefly discuss what the objectives of this Board should be.
