Bids will be opened on June 12, 1984 at 11:00 a.m. (Please refer <br />to resolution file for Resolution #84-96). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Schlueter and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to <br />adopt Resolution #84-97 approving of plans and specifications and ordering <br />advertisement for bids on Street Improvement Project #84-11, Magnesium Street <br />N.W. Bids will be opened on June 12, 1984 at 11:00 a.m. (Please refer to <br />resolution file for Resolution #84-97). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Schlueter and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />b) Authorizing Pgrtial Payment To First Impressions - <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Reimann to <br />adopt Resolution #84-98 approving of partial payment in the amount of $4,258.13 <br />to First Impressions for the construction of the irrigation system at the <br />City's Central Park. (Please refer to resolution file for Resolution #84-98). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Schlueter and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />c) Shoreland Ordinance - <br /> <br />Mr. Raatikka stated that DNR agrees with the City's recommendations except <br />for the deletion of Jeglens Marsh and also proposes that Thorn Lake be <br />added to the shoreline classification. <br /> <br />Council was agreeable to those two changes and directed City Engineer to <br />prepare an ordinance for Council adoption. <br /> <br />MISCELLANEOUS <br /> <br />Canvass of Ballot; Charter Election - <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Schlueter and seconded by Mayor Gamec to approve <br />the Charter Election Canvassing of Ballot. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Schlueter and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #11: Safety Fence At Central Park Ballfields: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg <br />to approve installation of safety fences at Central Park Ballfields by <br />Menard Construction in the amount of $770.00. (Resolution #84-98a) <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Schlueter and Van Wagner. Voting No: None.
