COUNCIL NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: R~uest For Preliminary Plat Approval ~or 0~kridge Industrial Park; <br /> Case Of Mr. Jo~h Senty.rz: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg <br />to approve of the preliminary plat of Oakridge Industrial Park. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Schlueter and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg <br />to approve of the final plat of Oakridge Industrial Park contingent upon the <br />applicant complying with any and all requirements set forth by the City <br />Engineer and City Attorney. Further, to grant a variance to the ordinance <br />requirement of blacktopping the street. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Ga/nec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Schlueter and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #2: <br /> <br />Request For A Variance To ZoNing Ordinance Density Requirements And <br />A Variance From Subdivision Ordinance Plattin~ Requirements; Case <br />Of Mr. Thomas Holker: <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich stated that the City should require platting, but based on the <br />handwritten letter received from Mrs. Harold C. Johnson and other circumstances, <br />some type of escrow agreement should be arranged to allow subdivision until <br />platting is completed so as not to hold up the closing. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Schlueter to <br />approve the proposed findings of fact for Mr. Thomas Holker's request. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Schlueter and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Schlueter <br />to approve of Mr. Thomas Holker's request for a variance to the density <br />requirements of the ordinance, which variance would entail the creation of <br />two lots from 13+ acres of property. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Schlueter and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilme~nber Reimann to <br />disapprove of Mr. Thomas Holker's request to subdivide by metes and bounds <br />a 13+ acre parcel into two lots. However, to permit the lot subdivision by <br />required platting and require escrow until platting is completed so that the <br />sale closing can take place as soon as possible. The escrow amount shall be <br />determined by the City Engineer. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Reimann, Schlueter, <br />Sorteberg and Van Wagner.
