Mr. Goodrich replied that there was a franchise <br />existing with the Township of Ramsey which expired some time ago and this <br />resolution would be renewing that contract. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Schlueter and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case ~4: Request For A Conditional Use Permit To Manufacture Mattresses In <br /> <br />A B-i, Business, Zone; Case Of Mr. Thomas Landowski, Sleep Easy <br /> <br />Mattress Company: <br /> <br />Mr. Landowski was present and stated that he has no problem with the proposed <br />development agreement except for not allowing an access onto Cty. Rd. #83. <br />Mr. Landowski doesn't feel his customers should have to drive all the way <br />around to the back of the store when the store front is facing Cty. Rd. #83. <br /> <br />Mr. Berg stated that Planning and Zoning recommended no access onto Cty. Rd. <br />#83 to allow a stacking distance from Cty. Rd. #83 onto Hwy. #10. <br /> <br />Mr. Landowski stated that his type of business draws in ~ccasional type traffic. <br /> <br />Majority Council consensus is to allow Mr. Landowski a driveway onto Cty. Rd. <br />#83; Councilmember Schlueter is opposed. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilm~mber Reimann to <br />approve of the findings of fact for Mr. Thomas Landowski's request for a <br />conditional use permit to manufacture mattresses, box springs and softside <br />waterbeds in a B-l, Business, zone. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteb~.rg, Reimann <br />and Van Wagner. Voting No: Councilmember Schlueter (Councilmember Schlueter <br />based her 'no' vote on the fact that not accepting P&Z recommendation for <br />no access onto Cty. Rd. #83 conflicts with Item #6.g of the Findings of Fact). <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner to <br />approve the proposed conditional use permit agreement for Mr. Thomas <br />Landowski to manufacture mattresses, box springs and softside waterbeds in a <br />B-l, Business, zone. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Schlueter and Van Wagner.
