Mr. Raatikka <br />stated that an EAW is submitted to EQB. Mr. Goodrich stated that the developer <br />must comply with the City's Municipal Utility Ordinance. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #6: Accepting Price Quotes For Purchase Of Asphalt Saw: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner to <br />approve of Street Superintendent Mevissen's request to purchase an asphalt <br />saw from Contractors Machinery and Supply, Inc. for a total amount of $775.00 <br />based on the recommendation of Street Superintendent Mevissen in his memo <br />dated May 17, 1984. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Schlueter and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #7: Franchise Amendmen% Settlement With Group W .Cable And..Change In <br /> Rates Regarding Service Fee: <br /> <br />Mr. Terry O'Connell, Administrator for the Quad City Cable Commission and <br />Mr. Jack Beissel were present. <br /> <br />Mr. O'Connell explained some of the construction problems Group W is running <br />into and Mr. Beissel recommended that Council not levy a fine for missing <br />the June completion date until construction is complete and the City is <br />satisfied. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner to <br />table this case until the next regular Council meeting. <br /> <br />C/May 24, 1984 <br /> <br /> Page 20 of 24 <br /> <br /> <br />
