Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #8: Authorization To Purchase Terminal Stands: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Reimann to <br />adopt Resolution #84-100 approving the purchase of six terminal stands through <br />the State of Minnesota bid purchase in the amount of $1,560.00. (Please refer <br />to resolution file for Resolution #84-100). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Schlueter and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #9: Miscellaneous (A. Letter From Department Of Revenue, State Of <br /> <br />Minnesota; B. Industrial Revenue Bonds; C. State Grants): <br /> <br />a) Letter From Department Of Revenue, State of Minnesota - <br /> <br />Council noted. <br /> <br />b) Industrial Revenue Bonds - <br /> <br />Council noted report from State of Minnesota and letters from Faegre and <br />Benson regarding IRB's. <br /> <br />c) State Grants - <br /> <br />Council noted law passed during the 1984 Legislative Session providing six <br />million dollars in grant funds. <br /> <br />Case #10: Council Personnel Committee: <br /> <br />a) Authorization To Utilize An Outside Plan Check Service - <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner <br />to authorize the Building Official to use an outside plan check service for <br />commercial and industrial buildings where he feels an outside plan check <br />would be in the best interest of the City. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann and Van Wagner. <br />Voting No: Mayor Gamec. Abstain: Councilmember Schlueter. <br /> <br />b) Request For Increase In Various Permit Fees - <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated he is not in favor of raising fees for commercial/ <br />industrial at this time. <br /> <br />Councilmember Reimann stated that Ramsey should be close or in line with <br />surrounding communities. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner to <br />adopt Resolution #84-101 setting various permit fees for the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
