Commission Business <br />Chairperson Levine thanked Mr. Riverblood for his thorough presentation. <br />Commissioner Bauer supported the Lake Ramsey portion of the plan. He hoped that the City <br />would be able to create a destination place through the proposed parks and food amenities. <br />Commissioner VanScoy appreciated the history lesson that was provided by staff. <br />Motion by Commissioner Bauer, seconded by Commissioner VanScoy, to recommend that City <br />Council adopt the COR Parks Plan as a working document and proceed forward with schematic <br />design for 'Lake Ramsey'. <br />Further discussion <br />Commissioner Brauer asked if staff needed support for the corridor as well. <br />Parks & Assistant Public Works Superintendent Riverblood requested the Commission offer <br />their support for the concept of the corridor. <br />Friendly Amendment: Motion by Commissioner Bauer, seconded by Commissioner VanScoy, to <br />recommend that the City Council support the corridor. <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Levine, Commissioners Bauer, VanScoy, Andrusko, <br />Bauer, Brauer, and Nosan. Voting No: None. Absent: None. <br />6.
