Once the project is
complete ground water levels will return to normal. Ground water
quality should not be affected by this project since the ground water
will exert a positive pressure on the proposed sewers and seep into
them rather than have the wastewater seep out. Infiltration rates
will be limited to 100 gallons/day/inch of diameter/mile. (Eaw and
City's Comprehensive Sewer Plan)

F. Shorelands, Floodplains, Wetlands, and Rivers

The proposed development will not affect shorelands, floodplains, and
rivers. There is a protected wetland (No. 115 w) within the
development which will be altered. A permit to alter the wetland
will be obtained from the DNR (Comments to EAW).

G. Surface Water Quality

Disposal of wastewater from the project will be made through the MWCC
interceptors, with treatment at the Anoka Treatment Plant.

Surface water runoff from the project will flow into wetland l15w and
outlet into the Rum River will be applied for from DNR. The wetland
will serve as a sedmentation basin for the stormwater. (EAW and
Feasibility Study).

H. Air Quality and Noise

J $

The contractor will comply with APC-6. Dust control measures will be
used when needed. The local noise control ordinances of Ramsey will
be complied with. (EAW)

Solid and Hazardous Waste

This project is a Residential and Commercial Development and will not
generate any hazardous waste. The solid waste generated by the
project is estimated to be 325 tons per year. This will be disposed
of at the Ramsey Sanitary Landfill until an alternative site or
method of handling solid waste is developed. (EAW)

Fish and Wildlife

There will be no significant impact on any fish and wildlife habitat
from this project. (EAW)
