Archeological and Historical Resources <br /> <br />This project will not affect any archeological or historical <br />reources. (EAW and response from the Minnesota Historical Society) <br /> <br />L. Parks and Special Resource Areas <br /> <br />Construction of this project will not create any adverse impacts on <br />parks or special resource area. The project will provide drainage to <br />the existing park in the Flintwood Hills First Addition, which will <br />make the park more useable to the surrounding residents (EAW) <br /> <br />M. Roads and Traffic <br /> <br /> The proposed development is estimated to generate approximately <br />a total of 1800 ADT in addition to some commercial traffic. Turn <br />lanes and bypass lanes will be provided at the T.H. 47 entrance. In <br />addition a proposed Municipal State Aid Street is planned through the <br />development and the City of Anoka which would connect T.H. 10 to <br />C.S.A.H. No. 5 (Nowthen Boulevard). (EAW, Feasibility Study and <br />comments from MN/DOT <br /> <br />N. Energy <br /> <br />Adequate energy resources are available to construct and serve the <br />project. Natural gas to the project will be provided by North Central <br />Public Service and electricity to the project will be provided by <br />Anoka Electric Cooperative and the City of Anoka Electric Utility. <br />(EAW) <br /> <br />II. CUMULATIVE POTENTIAL EFFECTS OF RELATED OR ANTICIPATED FUTURE <br /> PROJECTS <br /> <br />The purpose of this project is to allow for controlled growth in the <br />southeastern corner of the City of Ramsey. With the construction of <br />a municipal sewer and water system for this project, additional <br />development can occur in the area. Future development would be <br />consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan and regional plans for <br />the area. (Ramsey Comprehensive Plan) <br /> <br />III.THE EXTENT TO WHICH THE ENVIRONMENTAL EFFECTS ARE SUBJECT TO <br />MITIGATION BY ONGOING PUBLIC REGULATORY AUTHORITY <br /> <br />This project is subject to an MPCA sewer extension permit° DNR <br />permits to appropriate waters, alter wetlands and discharge <br />stormwater into the Rum River, and the review approval of the public <br />water system by the Minnesota Department of Health. <br /> <br /> <br />
