I <br />I <br /> I <br /> i <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> <br />Mrs. Lueck - 6741 165th Lane - Did someone petition for this blacktop? <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec replied that the City did receive a petition for blacktop. <br /> <br />Mrs. Lueck - Stated she never saw the petition. <br /> <br />City Engineer Raatikka explained that a petition of 35% of the area residents <br />can bring an issue up for Council consideration and a public hearing. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec noted that there are 23 signatures on the petition and 31 homes <br />in the Rolling Green project. <br /> <br />Bob Johnson - 16962 Nowthen - Own two lots in Rolling Green and blacktop is <br />useless to him. <br /> <br />Doug Thurston - Stated he would rather not have blacktop at this time because <br />in 5 or 6 years sewer and water will be installed and the streets will have <br />to be done over again. He owns property in Dunham Oaks and has a $3000 <br />assessment for 15 years. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Reimann to <br />adjourn the public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Schlueter, Reimann <br />and Van Wagner. Voting No: None.
