I
I

FEASIBILITY STUDY
PROPOSED STREET IMPROVEMENT
MAGNESIUM STREET LYING NORTH OF INDUSTRY AVENUE

I
I
I
I

SCOPE

The purpose of this study is to determine the
upgrading Magnesium Street, which is a private

feasibility of
road, to City

the

standards. This report further provides a cursory review of
existing drainage system within the project area.

i
I
I

The project area lies within the Southwest Quarter of the
Southeast Quarter of Section 26 and the Northwest Quarter of the
Northeast Quarter of Section 35, Range 25 West, Township 32 North,
City of Ramsey, Anoka County, Minnesota.

The project area lies north of Industry Avenue and west of Krypton
Street as shown on Exhibit A.

This study was initiated by a petition of the homeowners in the
project area. It is the desire of the residents to have the City
of Ramsey take over this road as a city street. It is the City's
policy that all streets, prior to being.taken over by the City, be
upgraded to City standards. Therefore, the City Council ordered
the feasibility study at their February 28, 1984 council meeting.

1
