I <br />'1 <br /> I <br /> I <br /> i <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I. <br /> <br />EXISTING CONDITIONS <br /> <br />Currently the proposed street exists as a private road which <br />serves five (5) properties lying north of Industry Avenue. The <br />road consists of a rural street section with a bituminous surface <br />approximately 22-feet in width. Due to lack of maintenance, the <br />street has broken up in several places. An inspection of the area <br />revealed that the drainage on the east side of the road is poor. <br />Soil borings in the low area across from the Gillman property <br />indicate approximately two feet (2.0') of frost-susceptible soils. <br /> <br />STREET IMPROVEMENT <br /> <br />It is proposed to upgrade the street with a rural cross-section at <br />a minimum width of 26 feet. It is proposed to repair the breakups <br />in the existing street and overlay the entire street with a <br />minimum of one inch (1.0") of bituminous. The areas that are <br />widened would receive a minimum of one and one-half inch (1.5") of <br />bituminous. <br /> <br />It is proposed to obtain right-of-way to a minimum width of 66 <br />feet for the street and a minimum of 120 feet in diameter for the <br />turnaround. It is also proposed to remove the frost-susceptible <br />soils to a depth of two feet (2.0') and realign the street to be <br />centered on the existing west line of the Gillman property. <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br /> <br />
