The Ramsey City <br />Ramsey Municipal <br />Members Present: <br />Members Absent: <br />Also Present: <br />1. <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, October 11, 2016, at the <br />Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br />Mayor Sarah Strommen <br />Councilmember Mark Kuzma <br />Councilmember John LeTourneau <br />Councilmember Chris Riley <br />Councilmember Kristine Williams <br />Councilmember Jill Johns <br />Councilmember Melody Shryock <br />City Administrator Kurtis Ulrich <br />Finance Director Diana Lund <br />Police Chief Jeff Katers <br />Parks and Assistant Public Works Superintendent Mark Riverblood <br />Public Works Superintendent Grant Riemer <br />Community Development Director Timothy Gladhill <br />City Engineer Bruce Westby <br />Asst. City Administrator/Economic Development Manager Patrick Brama <br />City Attorney Joe Langel <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Mayor Strommen called the regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council to order at 7:00 p.m., <br />followed by the Pledge of Allegiance led by Mayor Strommen. <br />2. PRESENTATION <br />2.01: Oath of Office for Patrol Officer Brandon Elliott <br />Police Captain Frankfurth introduced new Officer Brandon Elliot who began his career with the <br />department earlier this summer. He provided some background information on Officer Elliot, <br />noting that he enjoys outdoor activities in his spare time. <br />City Attorney Langel administered the Oath of Office to Patrol Officer Brandon Elliott. <br />Mayor Strommen noted that there are a number of Officers in the room tonight and expressed her <br />appreciation for the support the department provides to its members. <br />City Council / October 11, 2016 <br />Page 2 of 10 <br />
