FRANCHISE), <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />SECTION 4, PARAGRAPH F; CASE OF GROUP W CABI.E: <br /> <br />Enclosure (DZ-m) contains the following documents for your review in taking <br />action on this case: <br /> <br /> a) Letter dated July Z6, 1984 from Group W Cable to Quad Cities Cable <br />Communications Commission which is requesting a variance to install overhead <br />Cable TV lines in lieu of underground Cable TV lines between Variolite Street <br />NW and Llama Street NW on 161st Avenue NW which will serve approximately <br />18 homes because of the stated cost factor. <br /> <br /> b) Letter dated August 6, 1984 from Quad Cities Cable Communications <br />Commission to City of Ramsey which forwarded Group W's request for a variance <br />to the City of Ramsey for your action. The Quad City Cable Communications <br />Commission has recommended approval to the Council of the subject request. <br /> <br />Accordingly, if Council has any further questions about granting said variance <br />to City Ordinance #8Z-10, you should direct them to Commissioners Reimann <br />and Beissel who represent the City of Ramsey on the Quad Cities Cable <br />Corn munications Commission. <br /> <br />Council Action: Your action will be to approve/disapprove/table action on the <br />subject request. The following proposed motion is hereby submitted for your <br />consideration: .~;/ /~. / <br /> <br /> Motion by and seconded by')Li: to" approve of Group W <br /> Cable, Inc.'s request for a variance from City Ordinance #8Z-10, Article <br /> V, Section 4, Paragraph F to allow the construction of overhead Cable TV <br /> lines between Variolite Street NW and Llama Street NV/ on 161st Avenue <br /> NW to serve approximately 18 homes in the Kangaroo~Court vicinity. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
