For purposes of these Findings, "wind erosion" as <br />termed in Section 170.016F Paragraph 8, is deemed to mean air <br />pollution and therefore reference should be made to Finding No. <br />32 above relating to a~r pollution. <br /> <br /> 9. Water Pollution: Adequate water supply and sewage <br /> disposal facilities shall be ~rovided in accor- <br /> dance with state and local regulations. [170.016F <br /> Performance Standards]. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br /> 35. Adequate water supply and sewage disposal facilities <br />are currently located on the premises and serve the current <br />landfill operation. This water supply and sewage disposal <br />facilities conform with state and local regulations and are <br />adequate to service the needs at the proposed environmental <br />improvement and expansion areas as well. Leachate from the North <br /> <br />80 and the South 70 will be transported to a waste water treat- <br />ment facility. (Plans, Section III.D; July 3, 1984 testimony of <br />James O'Connor.) <br /> <br />CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br /> 36. On the basis of the foregoing Findings the Commission <br />concludes that the proposed use does not comply with the require- <br />ments of City Code sections 170.016D through 170 016F, and <br />accordingly recommends to the City Council that the application <br />for a Conditional Use Permit by Waste Management be denied. <br /> <br />19 <br /> <br /> <br />
