There were six housing starts compared to the seven in May. The <br />total valuation was down some $300,000.00. <br />The month did, however, prove to be quite busy administratively and Lester had <br />to handle most of the inspections. Hopefully I can continue in that capacity until <br />things settle down somewhat. <br /> <br />The letter to all septic system pumpers has been completed and the pumping permits <br />are at the printers. They can be mailed as soon as the City Council establishes <br />whether or not a permit fee is appropriate. If a fee is to be established, its amount <br />should be minimal so as to encourage permit acquisition. <br /> <br /> <br />
