Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Schlueter and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case ~13: Off-Sale Liquor License Renewal A~plication; Case Of M&L Liquors <br /> '- knd Discount 10 Liquors: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Schlueter to <br />approve the application of M&L Liquors for the off-sale liquor license <br />commencing July 1, 1984 and expiring June 30, 1985. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Schlueter and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />COUNCIL NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case ~2: .Request For Rental Of Fire Barn For Dog Obedience Training; Case <br /> pf Companion Dog Training Service: <br /> <br />Sarah Sawyer and Kris Fluegel representing Companion Dog Training Service were <br />present and requested permission to rent the City Fire Barn for the purpose <br />of conducting dog training classes. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec replied that it has been City policy to allow the use of City <br />buildings by civic organizations only. He also pointed out that the fire <br />barn is generally filled with City equipment. <br /> <br />Councilmember Van Wagner suggested that EDC Chairman Don Greenberg might <br />know where there is space available within the City to conduct such classes. <br /> <br />Council consensus is that Companion Dog Training should not use City buildings <br />in which to conduct their classess, but such a service would be an asset to <br />the community. <br /> <br />Mr. Schnelle suggested that Ms. Sawyer and Ms. Fluegel look into renting the <br />former nursery located on Nowthen Blvd. which is now vacant. <br /> <br />C/April 24, 1984 <br /> Page 14 of 20 <br /> <br /> <br />
