Shorelands, Floodplains, Wetlands and Rivers <br /> <br />~he proposed development will be oonsistent with the City's Shoreland, <br />Flood Plain, and Wetland regulations as specified by the DNR. No <br />Bhysical alteration of any drainage system, lake, stream or wetland is <br />proposed in this develofment. (EAW) <br /> <br />G. Surface Water Quality <br /> <br />The proposed development will generate additional surface and <br />stormwater run-off due to an increase of impervious surface coverage <br />and development on the site. (EAW and oomments fr~m MPG%) <br /> <br />Air Quality and Noise <br /> <br />Noise and dust will be generated only during the construction phases <br />of this development and will be of a temporary nature. ~'ne noise <br />level will not exceed the local noise control ordinance of the City of <br />Ramsey. Dust oontrol measures will be used when needed. No noxious <br />substances or nuisance factors are anticipated after construction is <br />oo~pleted. (EAW and oo~m~ents from the MP~) <br /> <br />I. Solid and Hazardous Waste <br /> <br />~his project is a planned unit development which includes single <br />family residential and commercial/retail development and will not <br />generate any hazardous waste. The solid waste generated by the <br />project is estimated to be approximately 400 tons per year. ~his will <br />be disposed of by private refuse haulers, most probably at the Ramsey <br />Sanitar~ Landfill until an alternative site or method of handling <br />solid waste is developed. (EAW) <br /> <br />J. Fish and Wildlife <br /> <br />Construction and completion of the development will remove some <br />wildlife habitat.
