'~e developers su~mitted this variation on <br />the original master site plan which includes less development on the <br />southeast side of Lake Itasca and revised roadways and lot <br />oonfigurations in west central port/on of the develo~ent. <br /> <br />4. Allow the open space in the development to be used for other <br />purposes, for instance, agricultural purposes, rather than being left <br />as open slmoe as proposed by the developers. <br /> <br />5. Any alterations that may be necessary to the site plan and <br />development due to any archeological or historical resources that may <br />be identified. <br /> <br />VI. Examine the proposed land use with respect to its economic/ <br /> sociological impacts in the area. <br /> <br />3. Complete a traffic/access analysis of the develol:ment. <br /> <br />4. Complete an analysis of impacts to ground water and surface <br /> water in the area due to the development. <br /> <br />FORMAT OF ~E ENVIRf~qMEN~ IMPACT S~I%~F24ENT <br /> <br />~e standard format for the EIS as outlined in MCAR 3.031 will be <br />followed. <br /> <br />RESPONSE TO (/)MMEN~ <br /> <br />Listed below are summaries of comments received during the scopin9 <br />period for the Envirom~ental Asses~ent Worksheet for the Northfork <br />Planned Unit Develoi~uent Project. Attached to this document are <br />copies of all oamments received. <br /> <br />1. ~he Minnesota I{istorical Society oommented that a portion of the <br />site had been surveyed and the remainder of the site needed to be <br />surveyed for archeological resources. To date, no significant <br />archeological or historical resources have been identified on the <br />site. ~he issue of archeologically/historically significant sites on <br />the project site will be addressed in the ElS. <br /> <br /> <br />
