Joynes, Chairman <br />MAMA General Labor Relations Committee <br /> <br />SUBJECT: JOINT COMPENSATION STUDY STATUS REPORT <br /> <br />Progress on the Joint Compensation Study has been made in a number of <br />areas. <br /> <br />First, Business Advisors is conducting a detailed analysis of task values <br />across the seven occupational groups. This analysis is being conducted to <br />identify value relationships by factor of both identical and similar tasks <br />in each questionnaire. Following this analysis, results will be presented <br />in March to Occupational Advisory Groups and the Personnel Committee in <br />order to finalize task values for the Study. <br /> <br />Second, a quality review of TIME SPENT PROFILES is in process by Business <br />Advisors. An optional revision process is under development and will be <br />made available to participating jurisdictions, to be communicated in a <br />later letter. <br /> <br />Finally, Business Advisors is continuing work on the market study and the <br />benchmark job study. <br /> <br />WSJ:hfc <br /> <br /> <br />
