REPORT ON FEASIBILITY STUDY <br /> FOR <br /> STREET SEAL COATING <br /> NORTH 1/2 OF HAGENS UNPLATTED AREA <br /> COUNTRYSIDE ESTATES <br /> GOLDEN EAGLE ESTATES <br /> SPORTS HAVEN <br /> CAROL ROSE ACRES <br /> RIVERWOOD HILLS PLAT I <br /> RIVERWOOD MILLS UNPLATTED <br /> HALL ANDERSON ACRES <br /> HALLAN D ACRES <br /> UNPLATTED "KORK'S ADDITION" <br />153RD AVENUE BETWEEN HIGHWAY 47 & ROANOKE STREET <br />153RD AVENUE BETWEEN COUNTY ROAD 83 & PUMA STREET <br /> <br />SCOPE <br /> <br />The purpose of this study is to determine the feasibility of seal <br />coating the streets in the above referenced areas. <br /> <br />The project areas lie within the areas described in the transmittal <br />letter accompanying this report and are all within the City of Ramsey, <br />Anoka County, Minnesota. <br /> <br />The improvement project areas are shown on the accompanying exhibit. <br /> <br />EXISTING CONDITIONS <br /> <br />The present street network consists of either rural or suburban street <br />sections with bituminous surface of varying widths depending on pro- <br />ject location. The street widths vary from twenty-four to thirty-six <br />feet (24'-36'). The bituminous surfaces have numerous cracks due to <br />temperature changes. With the exception of 153rd Avenue N.W., there <br />is also a loss of bituminous material in the pavement due to sunlight; <br />this causes the pavement aggregate to be exposed. Both sections of <br />153rd Avenue N.W. between Highway 47 and Roanoke Street and between <br />Co. Rd. 83 and Puma Street were seal coated five years ago and appear <br /> <br /> <br />
