K~r~ .McCulI~ Frm ~e l,~oue Cl~ l~¥1~,n V~r~ ~ ~t'~rp~ City <br /> <br />Kay McCulley - 14431 Wolfram - Stated that as a citizen and member of League of <br />Women Voters, she would like to know the status of the Pay ~quity Study for <br />Ramsey and if the information oontained in it will be public information. <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley stated that the status of the study for Ramsey (included with 105 <br />other cities and 6 libraries) is that the provider oonsultant, Control Data <br />Business Group, is still in the [xooess of completing the study. ~he study <br />includes a great deal of detail and there are several revie~ groups that have <br />to review it for accurateness. Mr. Bartley stated that he has a oopy of a <br />letter from Bill Joynes to Nina Rothchild requesting an extension of time to <br />complete the study. <br /> <br />Ms. McCulley - Inquired if the review groups are a [art of the Control Data <br />Group and h~w much of a time extension has been requested. <br /> <br />Mr. Hart/ey - l~eplied that Control Data is the technician and they have set up <br />several employee groups throughout various cities to review the information. <br />~he letter did not indicate a specific extension time. <br /> <br />Ms. McCulley - Inquired if Ramsey has established a timetable for <br />implementat/on once the study is oompleted and if funds have been budgeted in <br />the event there are inequities. <br /> <br />Mr. Sartley - Replied that the City has not established a timee~_ble; the <br />timetable will depend on the results of the study. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Mayor Heitman - Stated that the budget does not provide for any oorrections <br />should the study show s~me inequities. ~he ~ equity study will most likely <br />be a part of future Council agendas and city newsletters. <br /> <br />Councilmember Cox inquired as to why out of 855 Minnesoa cities, 105 cities are <br />apparently funding the study; the study is an example of another goverr~ent <br />created and funded project paid for by the taxpayers. <br /> <br />Mr. Bartley - Replied that some o~m~unit~es chose to do their own study. <br />Ramsey's choice was to go with a oonsultant in order to obtain a more detailed <br />and oomplete study on a oost-shared basis. <br /> <br />.Resort: <br /> <br />Mr. Allan Koenig of the Cemetery Committee and Pastor Dale Olson of Cross of <br />Hope Lutheran G~urch were present. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />i <br />I <br /> <br />Mr. Koenig stated that the C~metery Committee was directed to obtain price <br />quotes for fencing the b~o cemeteries in Ramsey and look into the possibility <br />of expanding those b~o cemeteries or a(x]uiring additional land for a new <br />cemetery. ~he C~etery C~mmittee was approached by Pastor Olson who stated <br />that Cross of ~k)pe owns a 10 acre p~rcel of land and the adjacent 10 acre <br />parcel is for sale. Cross of ~ope is suggesting that Ramsey purchase the <br />adjacent 10 acre parcel and exchange the north half of that p~rcel for the <br /> February 25, 1986 <br /> <br />Page 10 of 22 <br /> <br /> <br />
