Motion by Counci~r (bx and seconded by Counci~r Reimarm to defer any requests for conditional use permits for a hc~e occupation ~til after the joint Council/Ca,mission workshop meeting scheduled for March 6, 1986. I Further Discussion: Mr. Goodrich stated that the action in the motion is inappropriate because City Ordinanoe does allow for ha~e occupation permits and Ms. Skarbakka is making application pursuant to ordinance, k. exxtrich stated that Council does not have the right to table the case based on proposed a~enc%~ents to the ordinanoe, but Council can plaoe a moratoritm~ on the ordinanoe itself. Mr. (bodrich stated that the past general policy in has been to approve requests for hc~e occupation permits; denial of this request would require the adoption of a findings of fact. Councilme~ber Cox withdrew his motion and Councilmeu~r Reiman withdrew his second to the motion. Motion by Counci~r Cox and seconded by Counci~r Eeimann to table Ms. Skarbakka's request for a ~ occupation mtil such t/me as MS.
