FROM: 6heila Beyer

RE: The~-a-Bind ~acbine

DATE: April 15, 1986

have received the following price quotations in regards to the
There-a-Bind Rachine and they are as follows:

General Binding T-320

$1,795,00

0eneral Binding is prepared to give us 200 starter
covers at no cost (These would normally cost $140,00)
Also there is a 90-day warranty on all parts and labor
and a service agreement can be obtained thereafter, If
for any reason we would need servicing on the binding
machine and they could not get a service man here that
day they would get a loaner for our uae until a service
man could get here.

This particular machine also has a built-in "jogger."
This device assures that all the pages are touched
evenly with the glue and sheets should not fall out of
the finished bound book.

Atto-Minnesota T-170 $895.00

This particular binding machine does not carry the 90-
day warranty on all parts and labor. Any servicing
and/or service agreement would have to be gotten
through General Binding as it is their machine.

This particular model does not have a "jogger" for
assurance the sheets are e~enly touched with glue. To
purchase this feature is an additional $395 and ! would
recommend having this due to the large agendas we
construct here.

Considering all the features "pro and con" on the above two
binding machines I am recommending the purchase of the T-320 from
General Binding. The features built into the T-320 make it the
more desire of the tvo models.
