In order for the County to sell this property to abutting property <br />owners via an alternate sales procedure provided for in Minnesota Statute <br />282.01, they must first receive a waiver from the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />Enclosed is a letter and map for your information. <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />Parcel B will be sold for $25 to the Lord of Life Lutheran Church which will <br />then enable that property to have an acess onto County Highway #5. Parcel A <br />will be sold to the adjoining property of Mr. Merle Mares. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />It is my recommendation that the City Council waive its right of first refusal <br />and concur with the County of Anoka that the proposed sale will result in the <br />highest and best use of the aforementioned property. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to: <br />Approve of the proposed sale of Parcels A and B to the adjoining property <br />owners and waive the City of Ramsey's right of first refusal. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />Administrator ~ <br />Attorney X <br />Engineer <br />Community Development Dir. <br /> <br />Chief of Police <br />Finance Officer <br />Public Works Director <br />Other <br /> <br /> <br />
