Bill Sironen, County Engineer's <br />Office. <br /> <br />Co~ission noted. <br /> <br />b) Final plat for ¥oltin*s Oak Hill Estates. <br /> <br />Commission noted. <br /> <br />c) Use of accessory structure at Plants & Things, 137&5 Sunfish Lake Blvd. <br />N.W. <br /> <br />Commissioner Dee~ner stated that Mr. Hick~an should apply for a retro-active <br />variance to set back requirements and noted that a building used for retail <br />operations is required to have full frost footings. <br /> <br />Ms. Norris stated that City Attorney Goodrich stated that a retro-active <br />variance is not within the scope of possibilities. <br /> <br />Chairman Peterson inquired if the Planning Co~aission will be given the <br />opportunity to review Mr. Hickman's plans to provide adequate parking and use <br />of the new structure. <br /> <br />Ms. Norris stated that in the City Attorney's opinion, if the Building <br />Inspector has no problem vith the building being used for retail operations and <br />feels adequate parking is provided, then the Planning Commission should have no <br />problem vith it. <br /> <br />The Commission directed that Ns. Norris request the City Attorney*s presence at <br />the joint EDC/Planning and Zoning meeting scheduled for Hay 13 to discuss the <br />issue of Plants and Things and appropriate action. <br /> <br />Notion by Commissioner LaDue and seconded by Comnissioner Deemer to adjourn the <br />regular Planning and Zoning meeting. <br /> <br />Hotion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Peterson, Commissioners Zinnnerman, <br />Deemer, Hendriksen, Hovell and LaDue. Voting No: None.
