PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION CITY OF RAMSEY ANOKA COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA A regular meeting of the Park and Recreation Commission was held on Thursday, April 17, 1986 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd., NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. MEMBERS PRESENT: Dennis Donovan, Chairman Bill Rustad John Lichter Ron Hetland Don Lokker Janice Johnson Marleen Looyen ALSO PRESENT: Claudia Dodge, Ramsey Community School CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order at 7:05 p.m. by Chairman Donovan. The minutes were read and a correction was noted of the lighting system at Central Park. Motion by Commissioner Rustad to approve the minutes as corrected, seconded by Commissioner Lokker. Motion carried. CASE #1: Discussion of Sketch Plan of River's Bend Plaza Ann Norris explained the sketch plan proposed by Mr. Rick Foster. A discussion followed, noting that it is all commercial and office type use, non-residential. Motion by Commissioner Lichter to accept park dedication fee, seconded by Commissioner Lokker - motion passed. CASE ~2: Discussion of Sketch Plan of Mr. Gar~' Petrucci Ann Norris presented the sketch plan of Mr. Gary Petrucci for the property located at 173rd and Germanium and explained that Mr. Petrucci wants to plat two lots, 1~ acres, with an easement for a future road, and leaving the rest of the lot until a future date. Motion by Commissioner Hetland, seconded by Co~,~ssioner Lichter, to accept the park dedication fee - motion passed. CASE ~3: Discussion re§ardin~ Sketch Plan of ¥oltins Oak Hill Estates Ann Norris presented the sketch plan of Voltin's Oak Mill Estates. Discussion followed as to specifics - split up 40 acres into 4 lots of 6 acres each, leaving 22 acres; existing county ditch, drainage easement. Arnie Cox joined the discussion, mentioning there are some low areas, not desirable in the spring, and some areas would be high enough to sustain a trail.
