PERSONNEL COI~ITTEE <br /> CITY OF IL~SEY <br />ANOgA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Personnel Committee conducted a meeting on Monday, April 28, 1986 at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center. 15153 No, then Blvd. N.W.. llamsey. Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: Councilmember Gary Reimann <br /> Councilmember A1 Sorteberg <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator David Hartley <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />The Personnel Meeting was called to order at 7:35 a.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />The consensus was to approve the agenda as submitted. <br /> <br />COI~4ITTEE BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case~l: ~view AFSCHE Labor Contract: <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley and the Personnel Committee proceeded to review the followin§ items <br />contained in the proposed labor .contract: <br /> <br /> 1. Martin Luther King Day has been exchanged for Good Friday - <br /> essentially, it increases the number of paid holidays from 10 to <br /> 10-1/2. <br /> <br /> 2. The increase from ~140/month to $150/month on health insurance is <br /> part of the total 3.81 increase package the employees would receive. <br /> <br /> 3. The Personnel Committee requested that language in Article 13 of the <br /> contract be modified to reflect that a leave of absence with pay while <br /> under subpoena or serving as a witness in court viii only be granted <br /> when it pertains to City business. Employees viii receive a leave of <br /> absence with pay for jury duty. <br /> <br /> 4. Overtime or compensation time for employees falling under the Fair <br /> Labor Standards Act will be calculated in accordance with that law. <br /> There will be no comp time or overtime for those not covered under <br /> that law (Hr. Hartley, Ns. Norris, Hr. Craczyk, Hr. ~irz) Mr. <br /> Bartley stated that he feels it viii be difficult to prove that Mr. <br /> April 28, 1986 <br /> <br />Page I of 4 <br /> <br /> <br />
