15 Minutes CASE <br /> <br />ALTERNATE ALIC~NENT CONSIDERATION FOR T~E I~OPOSED <br /> INPROV~TS TO CAT~AY NORTlt INDUSTRIAL AI~PORT <br /> ~y: Dave Bartley, City Ad=inistrator <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />At the request o£ the City Council, the Airport Commission has investigated <br />the possibility of an alternate alignment for the Cateway North Industrial <br />Airport. The Airport Commission has concluded that the alternate alignment <br />can be considered but the pro's and con's of each align,,ent must be reviewed <br />carefuly before choosing a specific alignment. <br /> <br />Ob servations: <br /> <br />The Airport Commission respectfully submits its findings via Hr. Larry Koshak <br />of Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc. to the City Council and asks that <br />direction be given to the Airport Commission regarding which alignment to <br />pursue during the next step which is airport zoning. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to: <br />Request the Airport Commission to proceed with the planning effort for <br />improvements to the Gateway North Industrial Airport utilizing the <br /> (planned)(alternate) alignment. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />Administrator X <br />Attorney X <br />Engineer <br />Community Development Dir. <br /> <br />Chief of Police <br />Finance Officer <br />Public ~orks Superintendent <br />Airport Commission <br /> <br /> <br />
